OCEAN ANIMAL PROJECT


OCEAN ANIMAL  POSTER PROJECT

Section 1
a)      Name of ocean animal
b)      Scientific name of ocean animal (we will talk about this )
c)       What does it look like?
d)      Is it a mammal? Reptile? Fish? Invertebrate?
e)      Size (Length and weight) Color
f)       Body Features
g)      Any interesting “talents” or characteristics
 
Section 2
a)      In what ocean or oceans is your animal found?
b)      What is the water temperature where your animal lives?
c)       At what water depth does your ocean animal live?
d)      What does your animal eat and how does your animal get its food?
 
Section 3
a)      Does this animal lay eggs or have live young or something else?
b)      Provide details on how this animal cares for its young (if it does) and what the babies are like?
c)       Who are the enemies of your animal?
d)      What animals eat your ocean animal?
e)      How does your animal defend itself?
f)       Other interesting facts, such as: 
g)      Is your animal endangered or threatened?
h)      How many of are there surviving? (population)
i)        Are people a threat to this animal?
Section 4
Conclusion
a)      What is your opinion of your ocean animal?
b)      Why do you feel like you do? Explain your opinion.
