1. Students should know what a simile/ metaphor/expression is. (refresher from last year)

1. Students should be understand timelines and what chorological order is.
2. Students should understand the vocabulary words given in Cave art package.
3. Student's should be able to tell you 2 things that are going on in world news this week.

Student Life Map example: Grade 7

15 minutes of reading!

My Class library for 15 Minutes of silent reading each English class.
This past summer, I picked over garage sale books to find some information based texts.  If you have any books at home that are at a reading level of grade 3-8, please consider donating to the class before throwing them out!

Dear Parents,
Here is a list of materials needed for grade 7 and 8:
*General materials include paper, colouring pencils , markers, glue, 83247329 pencils because students are always losing them!, pens, highlighters, whiteout..
* If your child has trouble with organization...keep extra materials at home and replenish school supplies at Christmas break!

4X 40 page hilroys
